Coedwig - Objects of Dolwen

Crypt of the Wizard is proud to present Coedwig - Objects of Dolwen on cassette and digital formats.

Coedwig returns with six more hypnotic and haunting hymns of furtive forest synth, collectively entitled Objects of Dolwen—a paean to the ancient Welsh village of the same name. Coedwig’s second release under the Crypt banner finds our hero in a similarly pensive tone to his first outing, Dwindling Spirit Crusher, albeit with added gusto and a grander sense of scale.

With songs ranging from simple, synth-driven melodies filled with loss and longing to distortion-washed guitars accompanied by raw vocals emerging from underneath whimsical melodies, Objects of Dolwen positions itself at the center of a constant push and pull between darkness and light.

Follow Coedwig along this shifting and unsteady path, and you may yet emerge from the gloom into infinite rays of sunlight. 

All songs written and recorded by Coedwig across 2024 in Llandudno, Wales. A special thanks to Ike for helping put the art work together, Luca for housing me, Charlie H, Dan, Hamza, and Charlie Wizard for all the support along the way.
