Music for the beginning of the end of the world! With roots in country and bluegrass Lord Bill’s solo project Drelnoch is a raw black metal project like no other. From its inception in 2021 it was evident that this project was extremely personal for Bill whose variety of output as both artist and mastermind behind the incredibly eclectic Moonworshipper Records has been both constant and consistent, releasing cassette after cassette of incredible music. While early Drelnoch output has been compared to “Circle the Wagons-era Darkthrone meets early Dead Moon”, a combination that suggests a kind of raw, buzzing aggression still very much present on this release, it also hints towards very straightforward rocking punk melodies not often found in this genre.

Anthropocene shakes and shimmers with endless energy as if trying to break loose from its foundation in primitive american guitar music. Epic and emotion, this is your soundtrack to the end of days as nature reclaims the earth from man’s destructive clutches. 

This release continues an ongoing series under the Crypt of the Wizard banner called WIZARD100s where the Wizard himself selects some of the finest oddities, masterworks, and mind-melting opuses to press in an edition of 100 white labels, hand stamped and numbered only for the truest of heads.
